MIDDLETOWN ROTARY CLUB DISTRIBUTES DICTIONARIES TO THIRD GRADERS IN MIDDLETOWN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The Middletown Rotary Club, a supporter of local literacy programs, distributed age-appropriate dictionaries to all the third graders in Middletown on November 20, 2013 as part of the Dr. Wilfredo Nieves Dictionary Project. Over 400 dictionaries were distributed among the eight elementary schools in Middletown.

The Dr. Wilfredo Nieves Dictionary Project is one of the many community service initiatives the club supports annually in our community. It was named after Dr. Wilfredo Nieves, an honorary member and past-president of the Middletown Rotary Club.
