Middletown Rotary Club




February 5, 2019



Stand in for President was Joe Marino. Called to order at 12:15pm Pledge and Song. Refflection by Fred Mackowitz.

Clifton Watson PHD, Director of Jewett Center for Community Partnerships at Wesleyan Univ.

He grew up in New Haven and was a counselor for LEAP This taught him the importance of giving back and helping others.


The Jewett Center for Comm. Partnership Programming has these programs: 

  • Home to Office for Comm. Serv. And Engagement
  • WESU Radio Station Students provide 76 Hours of programming per week.
  • Center for Prison Education programming to Correctional Facilities.
  • Partnership with MXCC for College Pathways for younger students
  • 4th year growth for Science programs.

Meeting was concluded at 1:30pm with the Four way Test.
